This session will give attendees a real case study of how the YMCA of Greater Toronto has been an early adopter of the new YMCA Canada brand and applied the brand strategically to fundraising, buildings and communications to enable its new 10 year strategic plan/goals. Learn how the YMCA of Greater Toronto implemented and integrated brand positioning in all channels - to ensure consistency and reinforce efforts at every point of contact with audiences. Explore how the brand rollout strategy was focused on deepening public awareness of the YMCA's work (increased comprehension, relevance as well as awareness) as well as on continuing to create engagement and a heightened sense of urgency among stakeholders to support the Y (ready the marketplace for fundraising).
Location: 301-304
This session will provide participants with an overview of the nationwide campaign plan, including guiding principles, PR components and resources to help strengthen our capacity to raise charitable funds. An open invitation to the NAYDO 2012 Class of Young Professionals and all NAYDO Alumni from Classes of 2010 and 2011. Come and spend time with others as you finalize an implementation plan for your return to your Y. Take this one last opportunity to ask questions and share your philanthropic successes and challenges with others; and of course, share contact information with new friends and colleagues who can provide encouragement and support as you progress in your Y career.
Location: 317
This culminating forum is an opportunity to gather Y camping professionals, any YMCA leaders with major camping projects and board volunteers on the final day of the NAYDO Conference to share significant new knowledge, identify key development issues and needs for camps and offer feedback on what tools and resources might be helpful to YMCA camping after the conference and throughout 2013-2014. Come ready to share your ideas, your successes and your revelations about telling your camp stories for annual, capital or planned giving in the year ahead.
Location: 310
Make the most of this final opportunity onsite to connect with other volunteers to network, test next steps upon return to your YMCA, get advice from your peers, share your ideas concerns with board members and volunteers just like you. |
