Ali Hollenbeck, GPC, is the Senior Director of Grants and Proposals for the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA where she leads the Association’s funding and grant acquisition strategy. She is responsible for securing an average of $5M annually to ensure long-term sustainability for programs that strengthen youth, families, and communities in Tampa Bay.

Her leadership ensures that the Y’s grant-funded programs remain strong, innovative, and sustainable into the future. In December 2022, Ali earned her Grant Professional Certified (GPC) credential through the Grant Professionals Certification Institute (GPCI) and recertified in 2025. 

Prior to joining the Y, she worked for five years developing curriculum and education programming for symphony orchestras in Tucson and New Orleans. In 2017, she and her family left the bayous of rural southeast Louisiana and moved home to Tampa, where she joined the Y. 

She serves as the President of the Central Florida Chapter of the Grants Professionals Association, volunteers as a GPCI Ambassador, and lives, gardens, boy-moms, and heads to the beach in the Tampa area.
