Sean Elliott serves as President and CEO of the YMCA of the Capital Area in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He leads the organization’s mission to strengthen the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Sean has more than 26 years of YMCA leadership experience. Prior to joining the YMCA of the Capital Area, he served as President and CEO of the Greater Green Bay YMCA and Vice President of Operations & Capital Development with the Greater Philadelphia YMCA.
A graduate of the YMCA CEO Institute, Sean has served for more than 20 years as a YMCA of the USA trainer in Fiscal Management and Budgeting. He also currently serves on the board of the Small/Midsize YMCA’s and has served on the board of the YMCA Emergency Assistance Fund since 2017. Sean holds a bachelor's degree in Adult Health from Bloomsburg University and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Springfield College.
Under Sean’s leadership, the YMCA of the Capital Area continues to focus on strategic growth, operational excellence, and creating lasting impact throughout the communities it serves.
