Experience

Christian is the CEO for the YMCA of Niagara, having served in this position since September 2022. His tenure within the YMCA network extends to 14 years. He held previous roles at YMCA Calgary and the YMCA Regional Development Centre.  

Prior to his role in Niagara, he was based in Australia working for one of Australia’s largest recreation organisations. These roles provided him with the opportunity to deliver social impact solutions and increase accessibility to programs and services.  

In addition to Christian’s accomplished professional career, he has held many volunteer positions across varying sectors. Previously, he was President of the Board for a Community Association in Calgary, and he currently supports the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce as a Director. 

Christian is passionate about advancing community and is committed to using his expertise to advocate for equity.
