Experience

• Rachel is the Chief Development Officer at the YMCA of Central Florida in Orlando where she has served since 2022. Rachel oversees the philanthropic and community development efforts of the Association. Prior to taking the role in Orlando, she spent over 15 years as Chief Advancement Officer at the YMCA of Coastal Georgia in Savannah.

  Rachel has played an active role in securing transformational funding impacting her local YMCA community and statewide YMCA work. Her efforts have successfully connected more than $30 million to YMCA programs and initiatives, impacting thousands of people. Rachel is a past NAYDO Council Member and is long-time leader of NAYDO’s Program Membership Network. She will serve as Chair of the 2028 NAYDO Conference in Orlando.

  Before parachuting into the YMCA,  Rachel served as Director of Cadet Calling and Assistant Annual Fund Director at The Citadel Foundation in Charleston, South Carolina, and as Director of Annual Giving at Franklin University Switzerland in Lugano, Switzerland. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Rachel has embraced life in the South, the warm weather, and the year-round flip flop tan. She is an alumna of the College of Charleston. Rachel and her husband, Aaron, are the proud parents of two sons and two dogs.
